MAPEH for Today's Learner: Physical Education and Health 2nd Edition Grade 7 - TWE

The MATATAG Music and Arts, Physical Education and Health curriculum is designed toward the development and attainment of Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health literate 21st century learners. The learning standards are unwrapped, and the learning competencies are identified to develop and enhance the learners’ mind and skill sets to enable them to make informed decisions about their values and dispositions, and health and capabilities. This will consequently empower them to take responsibility for their health and well-being as well as their personal appreciation and ownership for Filipino music and arts.
The integrated learning experiences in Music and Arts, Physical Education and Health will help them create, perform, and adapt confidently, competently, creatively, and safely to the challenges of everyday life and the rapidly changing society.
The book series adopts a merging approach recognizing that Music and Arts, Physical Education and Health are interconnected and interdisciplinary. This innovative approach to wellness and physical well-being and appreciation of music and arts empower the learners to develop healthy habits, sound values and disposition, and lifestyles that will last a lifetime, allowing them to contribute significantly to nation-building.
This is the promise of the Music and Arts, Physical Education and Health for Today’s Learner textbook series that Phoenix commits to all 21st-century Filipino learners.

Dr. Ernesto Y. Sibal was one of the few Filipinos in academic publishing who can irrefutably lay claim to these three titles—Patriot, Pioneer and Innovator. A staunch patriot, Dr. Sibal fiercely advocated the vision of designating Filipino-authored books for young Filipino learners. This vision was enabled by the establishment of Alemar’s Bookstore in 1958, and through the foresight and drive of Alegria Rodriguez, who shared in the vision of her husband, she helped galvanize then fledgling Alemar's Bookstore as the place to go for textbooks and school needs, propelling it to become the first established bookstore chain in the country.
