How do we make a return?
Before marking any books, check your shipment upon its arrival. If there is an error in your order (e.g., incorrect titles; damaged or defective book copies), do not immediately return the materials. Rather, inform first your Customer Service Officer, and describe the error. Reference all the inquiries to your sales invoice. You will be given instructions to confirm the condition and will be asked to follow a procedure in returning the order. Please note that we will not be held liable for any losses or damages incurred in the return shipment, and remember to refer to your invoice number as the tracking number.
How do we get an examination or evaluation copy?
Fill out our downloadable form to request examination copies of titles being considered for classroom adoptions. Contact your Customer Service Officer or our Customer Service Department so we can process your request.
How do we obtain teachers materials?
Series flowcharts for your library for reference purposes, as well as a teachers guide (TG) for each classroom teacher using our textbooks, are given free of charge. These materials may be included in the shipment if specified on your purchase order, provided that the grade level and the number of copies of the TG needed are clearly indicated. You may also request the materials through your Customer Service Officer or from our Customer Service Department.
What is the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) for?
Each of our titles is identified by an ISBN. The digits “-97-06” are a code for the publisher; the other numbers, of which the item code is composed, identify each of our books. We also request that you identify the product you are ordering by its item code to ensure speedy and accurate processing of your order.

Dr. Ernesto Y. Sibal was one of the few Filipinos in academic publishing who can irrefutably lay claim to these three titles—Patriot, Pioneer and Innovator. A staunch patriot, Dr. Sibal fiercely advocated the vision of designating Filipino-authored books for young Filipino learners. This vision was enabled by the establishment of Alemar’s Bookstore in 1958, and through the foresight and drive of Alegria Rodriguez, who shared in the vision of her husband, she helped galvanize then fledgling Alemar's Bookstore as the place to go for textbooks and school needs, propelling it to become the first established bookstore chain in the country.
