• Sistematikong pinagsasanib ang Entrepreneurship at ICT, Agrikulturang Pang-Elementarya, Karunungang Pantahanan, at Sining Pang-Industriya sa mga gawaing nakapaloob sa aklat.
• Ang mga aralin ay makakatulong sa mga mag-aaral na mahubog ang
  kaisipan, kaalaman, kasanayan at pagpapahalaga ng mga karapat-dapat na gawain tungo sa
  pag-unlad at pagbuti ng uri ng pamumuhay ng sarili, mag-anak, at pamayanan.
• Ang mga gawain ay madaling sundan, naaangkop sa paksa, learner-centered, at nahihikayat ang
  mga mag-aaral ipamalas ang kanilang pagkamasining at pagkamalikhain.

Mga katangiang hinahanap sa mahusay na programa sa edukasyong pantahanan at pangkabuhayan:

• gumagamit ng mga kawili-wiling pamamaraan sa pag-aaral tulad ng pangkatang gawain, pananaliksik, paggamit ng komiks istrip, paggawa ng proyekto, at iba pa
• tumutulong sa pagsusuri ng natutuhan ng mga mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing hahamon sa kanilang isipan at pagiging malikhain
• naglalaan ng mga proyektong kapaki-pakinabang at mapagkakakitaan
• ipinapaliwanag nang mahusay at detalyado ang mga aralin at alituntunin sa iba’t ibang gawain tulad ng pananahi, pagkukumpuni ng mga sirang kagamitan, pag-iimbak ng mga pagkain, at marami pang iba

COMPONENTS
Worktext—focuses on cognitive development. Basic technical training as well as practical learning experiences are included to build your learners’ self-esteem and confidence, making them well-rounded and significantly useful.
Teachers Guide—offers varied and innovative instructional strategies and methodologies
that promote activities showing the equal roles of men and women at home and in business. The presentation of lesson components is functional, ensuring efficient teaching.

The Home Economics and Livelihood Education (HELE) second edition series aims to help students acquire meaningful and productive learning experiences as the lessons are designed to provide opportunities to explore the following fields: entrepreneurship, information and communications technology (ICT), elementary
agriculture, home economics, and industrial arts.
