Building Engineer

Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for

  • Preparing, verifying, and modifying engineering plans, drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs.
  • Assuring compliance with National Building Codes, Electrical codes and other Engineering Practices.
  • Performing technical and safety evaluations, adaptation of engineering techniques, standard procedures and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors all electrical/engineering work to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations.
  • Provides technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction; analyzes and interprets test information to resolve design-related problems. Review existing electrical engineering criteria to identify necessary revisions, deletions or amendments to outdated material.
  • Plans, develops, assembles, maintains, modifies, operates, evaluates, and documents the more complex electrical and electronic systems, prototypes, and specifications according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles. This includes the following:
    • Draws or modifies diagrams and writes engineering specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria of experimental electronics units.
    • Conducts regular inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and giving recommendations.
  • Evaluates engineering proposals. These include the following tasks:
    • Write commissioning procedures for electrical installations.
    • Prepare project cost and work-time estimates.
    • Evaluate shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria, and recommend approval or disapproval.
  • Prepare contracts and initiate, review and coordinate modifications to contract specifications and plans throughout the construction process.
  • Perform managerial duties such as:
    • Delegating work assignments.
    • Monitoring work of support personnel in the assistance of supervisors/managers.
    • Assigning the order of priority of special projects.
  • Checks weekly maintenance monitoring report that includes accomplished, pending, and ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four-year course related to Engineering, preferably Electrical or Civil.
  • Licensed Civil/Electrical Engineer.
  • With at least 3-5 years of experience in the same field.
  • Supervisorial experience for at least 2 years
  • Thoroughly knowledgeable in electrical design, engineering techniques, drafting and occupational safety standards.

  • Safety Officer
  • BOSH Training
  • Client-handling
  • Decisive and dedicated.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in coordinating with authors, coordinators, outsource persons (editors, evaluators, layout artists, illustrators, among others), including other external and internal customers to keep with the production timetable
  • Monitors files, documents, manuscripts, and other pertinent materials to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any four-year course, preferably BS Elementary or Secondary Education with subject specialization

  • Goal-oriented, team player, keen on details, and can work with minimum supervision.

Summary:

The HR Assistant for Recruitment is responsible for providing support to the different departments for their manpower needs. The incumbent is in charge of sourcing, screening, and assessing candidates in order to provide the right number of manpower with the right skills at the right time.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs all recruitment-related functions, including, but not limited to:
    • Sourcing for applicants through various avenues, including online job sites, job fairs, and agencies
    • Coordinating with outsourced agencies for the efficient and effective completion of manpower requirements
    • Screening candidates’ applications to evaluate whether they meet the standards for the position
    • Inviting candidates for initial screening
    • Conducting interviews
    • Endorsing candidates for further interviews with supervisors and/or managers
    • Endorsing candidates for psychometric evaluation
    • Administering assessment tests as required
  • Requires and ensures completion of pre-employment requirements of successful candidates, makes necessary background checks, and conducts on-boarding orientations
  • Develops recruitment strategies and innovates existing systems to improve efficiency and/or lessen expenses
  • Maintains good working relationship with recruitment partners and gives feedback on their performance
  • Monitors contract expiry date of employees and advises concerned department heads of such for implementation of necessary employee movements; proactively work with managers regarding potential extensions when agreed end date approaches

  • Keeps accurate records of temporary/agency-hired workers
  • Create and updates job descriptions as necessary
  • Maintains and updates employee database, as well as provides all manpower related reports to aid in OD activities
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of a degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or its equivalent
  • With at least one (1) year of work experience with recruitment and administrative functions preferred

Summary:

The Senior HR Supervisor oversees HR activities, specifically those related to compensation, benefits, & total rewards, as well as training & development, while under the direct supervision of the Senior HR Manager. Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Senior HR Manager in overseeing the accurate and timely procedures and processes of selected HR operations of the company:
    • Compensation & Benefits Administration, including proper development, administration, and maintenance of company compensation and benefits plans.
    • Training & Development, including training needs assessment, identifying skill gaps, creating and executing appropriate training plans for employees.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of HR policies and plans for the company through analysis and research of trends in different HR functions and operations, while ensuring alignment to company values and compliance to government-mandated practices.
  • Ensures accurate and compliant employee and data records and creates comprehensive reports that translate the data to inferential knowledge that can be utilized by the company.
  • Protects the company’s security and integrity by monitoring internal controls, establishing strict confidentiality, and keeping organized records and documents.
  • Supervises HR team members in duties and performance, while working with other HR supervisors and the Senior HR Manager in setting and achieving overall team goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in the HR Industry, (focused on compensation, benefits & total rewards, and/or training & development).
    • Strong background in HR data analytics and statistics is a huge plus.
  • Must have at least 3 years of supervisorial experience or any other HR-related leadership role.
  • Must have effective skills in organization, communication, and leadership.

Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for providing the historical information of clients to help the Management and sales agents in decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and secures historical data of customers’ files.
  • Handles account inquiries of customers and sales agents.
  • Provides a summary of invoices of schools’ adoption of new titles for computation of special incentives of sales agents.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably with CPA license.
  • With at least 3 years of work experience in accounts receivable and general accounting.
  • Detail-oriented and superior data entry skills.
  • With good interpersonal skills.

Summary:

The incumbent provides an analytical statement of the company’s collections and accounts receivables to help the Management in business planning, budgeting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the AR team and ensures that the demands and requirements of internal and external customers are provided on time.
  • Recommends and implements policies and procedures to improve overall receivable collections and management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably with CPA license.
  • Must have adept with various accounting procedures and practices, specifically in accounts receivable.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and has good decision-making skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills

The incumbent is responsible for the accurate and timely recognition and processing of payables to ensure good credit standing to internal and external suppliers.

  • Must be adept with various accounting procedures and policies.
  • Detail-oriented and data entry skills.
  • With good time management and analytical skills.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of any four-year course, preferably business-related.
  • Has extensive experience in direct selling and/or marketing.

  • Has to be customer-centric, with strong leadership skills, a good team player, and demonstrates strong work ethic.
